Support the Library
Friends of the Library Association
The Library Association is made up of people who want to support the Greenville Public Library. The Library Association sponsors programs, museum passes, and helps with purchases and projects. We encourage you to join us as a member to help keep our library active and strong.
Dues are $10.00 for an individual, $15.00 for a family and $50.00 for a business membership.
Members receive a monthly newsletter and other special notices throughout the year, and vote for the library trustees at the annual meeting. You do not need to be an association member in order to use the library. Join online or by mail using the links below, and a newsletter will be sent to you. Thank you for supporting your public library!
The Greenville Public Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides public library services to the Town of Smithfield and greater Rhode Island community. We receive 70% of our operating budget from the town, and the rest comes from the State of Rhode Island, fundraising, donations, and grants. Donations are tax deductible and can be made online or by mail.
